GENTLY IN THE BREEZE
My eyes forever scan the heavens
search each field, each radiant flower,
surveying all, of His Creation
the witness of His love and power.
His is the hand that formed each glory
from new life in the womb,
to the least of all His creatures
and raised Jesus from the tomb.
In the softness of a Summer breeze
His presence wraps me round,
His whisperings lift my Spirit
as He speaks His love profound.
My heart delights in His caress
finger of the breeze soft kiss,
my longing inner being
to the heights I soar, sweet bliss.
With all His power, majesty
He made all creation for,
to love and serve Him here on earth
then, live with Him, evermore.
