FLAME TO FLAME

Before all of creation
the heavens, land and sea,
dwelled the Flame Eternal
all beginning yet to be.

From the Flame in its intensity
came desire then to share,
the love and gifts and blessings
they would be beyond compare.

The Word spoke out creation
all that would ever be,
in His image, man and woman
dominion over all they see.

Their union was perfection
in the garden did commune,
with the Lord of all creation
their flames with His in tune.

The sin of disobedience
did put a great divide,
between the Father and His children
ashamed, from Him, they’d hide.

His mercy and immense love
longed for reunion with each one,
so He sent to all a Saviour
to repair the damage done.

Jesus took upon Himself
on His trek to Calvary,
the pain and sin, and sufferings
of all humanity.

His Sacrifice for everyone
God’s eternal love does show,
how He longs for all His children
in His perfect love to grow.

Longing for Divine reunion
heart to heart and flame to flame,
with our love and His united
to return, from whence we came.
