SPIRIT PRAYER

Holy Spirit give to me
the gift of prayer
so I may be,
fluent when I talk to Him
whom the angels sing
their Requiem.
Replace my thoughts
of daily events,
with visions
that are from heaven sent.
Loose my lips
so I may speak
words of praise
may I ever seek
to raise my voice
with the Heavenly Hosts
in prayer to the Father,
Son and Holy Ghost.
