BREAK FREE

Violence and wars abound
o’er all the earth today,
in turmoil and confusion
man is blind, finds not the way.

To break free from the hatred
that fills the hearts of men,
who fumble in the darkness
for there is no light within.

Their thirst, it is unquenchable
for something they know not,
they follow voices of the world
entranced by another’s plot.

The chains that bind them, can be broken
their eyes be made to see,
their ears to hear only His truths
with Jesus’ love they can break free.

For it’s not complicated
to follow Jesus’ plan,
have faith, and give to Him your all
break free and take His hand.

PRAISE TO THE KING

You are my Lord and Saviour
my God and Sovereign King,
in love and adoration
to Your promises I cling.

They are the hope that fills me
the courage and the strength,
to live out my days in longing
til I reach their breadth and length.

Your faithfulness eternal
Your love without an end,
Your gifts of faith, peace, love and joy
to the full You ever send.

And when I’ve reached that moment
as I step through the veil,
Your arms will hold me, Mighty King
as to the heights we scale.
