REACH OUT

Your hands extended lovingly
reach out to all, and pleadingly,
You coax, entreat, whisper each name
oh come and wash away your stain.

Love as I so love all men
I reject no one because of sin,
but gently with sweet tender care
I show them love is always there.

Reach out to all the sick and lame
and all who suffer loss and pain,
the poor, the hungry, those grown cold
and draw them back within the fold.

For I am present in each one
each soul worthy to be won,
in reaching out to such as these
You, in love reach out to me.
