SOUL GARDEN

Precious flowers of God
with pure love bedewed,
no two the same essence
no two the same hue.

One thirsting for water
another more space,
one needs special feeding
a new gift of grace.

Some thrive in the shadows
and some in full sun,
each needs special treatment
for their fruits to be won.

Each bud calls for tending
good gardeners so needed,
to care and to prune
of all uselessness weeded.

It takes love and caring
best done on our knees,
to tend a soul garden
our God for to please.
